Hello,

Question #1
for starts - is their a MIDI Controller that will work with 2 turntables w/ timecoded vinyls
if so anything under $150-220 ~ or if its just a little over, and a lot better, that works too...
---PREFERABLY ONE WITH 4 CHANNELS---

Question #2
I have a ASIO (Maya44), I was wondering...
Is it possible to use my turntables w/ virtual dj, with serato timecodes, with my soundcard and no mixer?
if so that would be great too..

Question #3
What is a good Mixer, that I can use my turntables with virtual dj...
---PREFERABLY ONE WITH 2 CHANNELS---
--------AND GOOD FOR SCRATCHING--------

Reason: A while ago, I bought a Maya44, 2 Numark TTUSBs -beltdrive- (YES I KNOW THEY SUCK), and a Numark M1 USB, 2 Serato Vinyls...
I am on a TIGHT, TIGHT, TIGHT BUDGET
I didn't educate myself in DJ hardware at that time, and blew a lot of money, and was mad...

Now I need something that will work, something that will be DECENT, or even semi-bad, I don't really care
Just need help...

Ok to answer all your questions in one shoot, I'd say buy a Hercules RMX. it's a midi controller slash mixer. It can be used with or without turntables has it's own built in soundcard and only cost around 350 US dollars plus it comes with VDJ LE and after you register it you can get a nice discount on the PRO version of VDJ.

As far your setup goes now you already have the tables, not the best but they'll work, you have a Maya 44 which is a nice soundcard so really all you need is a cheap 2 channel mixer and you'll be good to go.

But if it was me I'd sell it all and just buy the Hercules and call it good!

Hope that helps

Wow, Thank You...
Specifically, what mixer would be good?

Yeah I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. But do you really need 5 channels? Look up the VMX-300. I have one and its my back up. Its a 3 channel mixer and its a 10 inch.

Good luck and hope to see you as a pro user soon ;-)

that is an awesome alternative, one question i looked at some vids on youtube of this, do the effects work well?

Umm what effects are you talking about? The mixer doesnt have any effects. Heres a pic,

If your talking about the back where it says effects that for running an outside source that will apply it to your tracks, but thats another topic. I would say for the money this is a great mixer for someone just starting out.

thanks thats what im going with :D

Now all you gotta do is save up and buy VDJ PRO ;-)

Glad I could help bro
