Hi,
I have owned VirtualDJ for several years but this weekend will be the first time that I use it at an event. Because I have gotten comfortable setting up a list of songs (playlist) that I will probably play during the night, I am in the process of doing this in Virtual DJ. Based on your experience, can you give me some advice on which of these options to check or uncheck?
Mix Fade ... Mix Cut ... and Mix Tempo
I have read the manual and I know what these options do. What I am asking about is real world experience using them.

The best thing to do is play with the different settings so that you understand what the setting does when you use it.
When I need to set a playlist up I generally set it to the FADE option and choose 8 seconds for the fade length which gives a nice overlap of songs as one fades out the next fades in.
The CUT feature, will cut the song right off abruptly while the other one starts immediately. This sounds good when the BPM and KEY values are identical (every combination of songs is different. Some sound good, some don't).
Play around a bit and see what you like to use.
