I have a wide black border on the left and right side of my music videos. How can I remove those black side borders so that it fills my 10 foot

the screen resolution of your skin may be smaller than that of the screen you will need to match your desktop, vdj skin and screen resolutions.
for example all 1920 x 1080 or all 800x 600 etc...

Same here Charlie, I've always had one or the other. As to your dim picture maybe you have the fade to black option on and your faders weren't all the way up??

we think its the video card nvidia 8600m any one else with this prob
