Hello guys.
For quite a while now i have been using VD6 with the hercules rmx console.
worked flawlessly. nothing to complain there.
a few days ago decided to get me 2 turntables. Reloop - RP-2000 MK3 and the Rane timecode vinyl, v2-
looked at all the material i could find on how to set it up.
the problem i encountered and i could not solve at the end was, that, other than getting relly low timecode quality,
even when the timecode was not being read (turntable not spinning, or the needle was not on the vinyl ) i kept getting this scratching and twitching noise.
i am using mac snow leopard and vdj6.
as a soundcard i am using the hercules rmx.
to be noted that when i installed the 5.2 version it all works perfectly.
any suggestion would be appreciated.
best regards and thanks in advance.

Right, admitting that vdj6 is outdated i went ahead and upgraded to the version 7 pro.
i like it so far but my problem persists.
After i configure the turntables, the scratching noise reappears unless i have the turntable spinning and playing something.
if i stop it or hold the record, or try to srcatch the noise reappears.
And, to be noted, during this, on VDJ, even when no track is playing both decks, onscreen look like they are uncontrollably spun back and forth.
How is it possible that this for me only works on version 5.2?
Kinda stuck here guys.
some help would be greatly appreciated.
btw, can we modify the title of the thread to Timecodes on VD7?
