Whats up everyone, I was wondering where all the pro/experienced DJ's get there music. It would really help to get some answers. I was just going to rip all the music at my jobs computer onto mine because i work at a skating rink, but i need everyones opinion on that also. Can someone help?

Let me ask you this question:
If you needed $10, would you take it from the skating rink?
Before you say anything, YES it is the SAME THING! The skating rink paid for that music for THEIR use, not yours. You want to be respected by the professional DJ community? I would suggest not STEALING any music.
If you go to Google and type "dj music pools" or "music subscription service" you will find pages and pages of LEGAL ways to build your archive. I have spent the better part of 20 years and thousands upon thousands of dollars to build my archive. Those who steal music thinking that they are going to be DJ's are just as bad as the guy who holds up the corner store at gunpoint.
Do the right thing.

where do dj's get their music... used record cd stores fllea markets rummage sales estate sales...follow your favorite artist they sometimes give away singles...but i been a record collector since my teens...spent much paper on tunes...and thats what makes me STAND OUT..my diverse collection.. :)
