Topic: Rookie Question- Can't get sound through headphones AND speakers

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I have read all the manuals, and watched videos on Youtube but I can't seem to figure out how to get the sound in my headphones to cue a track while playing the sound through my computer speakers. Here is what I have:

-Macbookpro 17 inch
- Virtualdj_le 6.1
- Numark Mictrack Pro
- Bose noise cancelling headphones
- Adapter from radio shack to connect the bose headphones to the mixtrack

Could anybody please help a rookie out? I've done my homework, I just need step by step instructions of what I'm doing wrong.

My config settings:

input: none
output: single output
soundcard: built in

I have tried several different config settings. but that's just to give you an idea. Thank you!

VirtualDJ LE is limited software and only supports outputting the sound through the sound card built into the MixTrack Pro.

Make sure that you have plugged a pair of powered stereo speakers into the master outputs on the back of the console and choose the following sound options:

Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Sound card: Numark

If you wish to output the sound through your computer's own speakers, then you will need to connect a suitable cable (2x RCA to 3.5" headphone jack) from the master output of the console to the line input of your computer. The sound will then come out through the computer's speakers (If not, go to your sound card's mixer/control panel and ensure that the line input is not muted and the volume is set to an appropriate level.)

NOTE: For more flexible sound configuration options and much, much more, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro at a discount: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
