Hey , when i mix and master out from speakers then its sound ok . But when i start recording or broadcasting and later listen then its sounds like all my levels are max(sounds is like crap), but they're not, they are on normal . I use external mixer VMS4 , use 2 channels when mixing. I put cabels like this when i mix RCA cabel to master out my speakers and RCA to jack(from VMS4 master booth ) to my pc card line in. Here's pictures of my settings, maybe i have to change something there?

You have to adjust (lower) the line-in level of your PC sound card to avoid distortions in recording.

You have to try several different values, and make some test recordings. Try starting from 80% and lower that value by 10% steps.

wouldn't it just be easier to have a recording level monitor built in so you can see if the sound is clipping... because vdj doesn't have this feature, i have use my other pc and record with audition
