Wondering how others have dealt with mapping functions when many of the key functions have been assigned to standard applications. For example I use the mixtrack pro and want the ability to map the filter to something that is less frequently used, although the only keys I dont use are stutter and maybe one other knob. I was wondering if there was a way to map like a shift button, for instance engage effect with stutter and use a particular knob?? to sweep through lows and highs? I was also pondering if it was possible to do a master volume echo so that the up faders could be technically down yet master volume echo from the previous beat? Therefore being able to create bars through an echo through master volume but up and down fade through deck 2 for instance? Any help is much appreciated, Ive read the wiki manual and makes sense for simple mapping but not for something like using stutter as an activate effect then possibly another knob to sweep. Help!!!I just upgraded to pro particularly to get the most out of the effects and my mixer.

you can change the mapping to anything you wish, i have completely explained mapping shift buttons in this thread

to map the effect, you need to use
deck # effect 'stutter' active

for an absolute knob you can use
deck # effect 'stutter' slider 1

for an endless encoder use
param_greater 50% ? deck # effect 'stutter' slider 1 +0.01 : deck # effect 'stutter' slider 1 -0.01

I have never used this effect, but I think it does what you are after

Also this is the wrong forum, you should use the technical or hardware support forum
