Now, I've poked around the forum and noticed although the forum is great at helping new DJ's. However when it comes to finding music the forum kind of gets angry, saying things like "find it yourself" etc. I need some help finding music, not to play at shows but to help me learn some beat matching and get a better grasp on hearing the kick drums and hi-hats

three things to start with, I have never read anyone say "find it yourself" usually people will say i get my music from such and such a source, secondly this is the wrong forum to ask this question, In future a more suitable one would be the mix lessons, and third you probably want to give your thread a more meaningful name than "some tracks". Now to answer your question, to learn to beat match, in my opinion ideally need a solid 4/4 beat at around 126 - 130 bpm.
This range will usually have many different genres and sub genres in such as house, tech house, fidget, trance, tech trance, dutch house, minimal etc... so you can usually find a style you like, and that is the most important thing, you need to enjoy the music you are listening to (I learned how to mix with breaks because that is the sound I loved and the reason i decided to spend $2000 on turntables and a mixer)
for more information on how to mix see this topic: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/6288/Mix_lessons/DJ_MIXING___basic_-_advanced_-_pro.html
With regards to charts, If you ask a question where can I find good dutch house charts, you would be able to get an easy answer. If you wanted I'm sure you would be able to get a list of good producers in you favorite style just look at this post on dubstep: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/144964/Music_discussion/Dubstep_.html everyone has come together and listed their favorite produces.
There is a topic in the forums currently about where other users source here music here: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/146019/General_Discussion/Building_a_music_library.html
Personally I use the sites listed below, although I am a club dj:
beatport
trackitdown
djdownload
junodigital
traxsource
they all have charts of best sellers, dj charts in any genre you can think of... If you know nothing of the style you like they usually have the top 100 tracks spanning every genre.
a few of my favorite producers off the top of my head are:
chase and status (dnb)
sub focus (dnb)
dc breaks (dnb
spor (dnb)
seba (dnb)
high contrast (dnb)
camo & crooked (dnb)
high rankin (dubstep)
doctor p (dubstep)
breakage (dubstep)
can you see a pattern forming... I like drum n bass more than anything else, you may not.
To finish you should always be a lover of good music before being a "dj", It's about more than just the image and unless you playing in some sleezy club where people just go to get messy and pick up or get into a fight, most of the people will want to hear the music, If you don't know your shit, you wont last long.
