Topic: VIDEO RESOLUTION & BITRATE

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

i'll cut the long story short . What resolution & video bitrate are you guys using ?

i mostly render my videos (i swap the audio to 320kbps in all the videos i play) at 720p , 6000kbps .

I have a dell xps 15 with 2gb nvidia 435m graphics , 6gb 1333mhz ram , i7 7400 2.93ghz processor . and sometimes the video slows down , i can clearly see the laptop's struggling . Should this laptop be fine with those specs , or should i drop down to 640x480 resolution at 4000kbps ? I bought a laptop with the best specifications i can afford and still having issues so its very annoying !!

I dont have any space issues so i kept the file sizes and resolutions high , just in case if i play in a club which uses hd connection . but then the video is a little choppy all the time , at least to the trained eye . May the high resolution be causing this ?

ps : im using the minidisplayport connection with a pc to tv converter . Should i go for the hdmi port with a converter instead ?

there arent any vjs in the area i leave so im really lost ! tired of switching formats & resolutions .

by the way could this be a frame rate issue ? Im in uk so i render them at 25 frame rate pal all the time in vegas , but i never check the frame rate of the source and match it to the project frame rate . actually i dont even know how to check the frame rate of a video .
