Topic: V-DJ Reading Decks Backwards??? IDK

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Ok.

When I start up the program I have to (apply) my settings every time. Is this Normal? Also V-Dj reading my tables backwards ie. My right one shows up as the left one in V-Dj. I have a Numark Mixdeck so i can't just move the Digi-Tables around. Other wise everything works fine. Also sometimes both track only play on one deck but at the same time. I have no idea. And it seems to be intermittent, while all of my settings remain the same.
Please Help! I don't want to have to become a Traktor man......

Thanks

Press the EJECT button of one of the decks to swap the decks around. Or if the Pro trial is active, go to CONFIG -> Mappers, click on the button to the right of the drop-down list and choose the option to assign controllers. You can then assign the MixDeck to the correct decks via the menu.

Make sure that you have the latest VirtualDJ LE v7 installed: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

And the latest drivers and firmware from: http://www.numark.com/mixdeck

If the settings are not saving then this is most likely a permissions issue, so the software cannot save them.

Please check the permissions on your VirtualDJ folder are set correctly:

  • Go to the /users/YOURNAME/Documents folder and right-click (CMD+Click) on the VirtualDJ folder (Or /users/YOURNAME/Library if you have v7.0.3 LE)

  • Choose Get Info from the pop-up menu.

  • In the bottom right corner of the Get Info dialog, click on the pad-lock icon and unlock it (You will be prompted for your user password.)

  • Then just above that to the left is the Permissions list. Make sure that your user account has Read/Write permissions set.

  • Just below the Permissions box there is a button with a gear graphic on it - Click on it and choose the 'Apply to all included' items.

  • Once changed, close the Get Info dialogue box to apply the changes.

NOTE: If you use external drives, you will also need to do the above for each external drive.
