Hello,
I had this issue with the Numark MixTrack and now with a Hercules MK4. It's brand new and came with the VirtualDJ MK4 Edition or LE and I keep getting the error with the skins. I've looked in other forums about this and have tried to reinstall the program and download new skins and the LE upgrade from this website and nothing is working.
I've been searching the internet for any answer but keeping coming up with the same problem.
I'm on a 2010 MacBook Pro, i5, Mac OS X 10.6.7.
I am the only administrator and user so this issue is not loading it under administrator and trying to use the program as another user (a possible solution I've read in other threads).
I'm not that knowledgeable about xml but am trying to read up on this so I can hopefully figure it out. Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction here. Thanks.

Try deleting the following file and then re-install VirtualDJ: MacintoshHD -> Users/YOURNAME/Library/Preferences/com.atomixproductions.virtualdj.plist
