upon further consideration, if I ran ATOMIX....

I would put sclavel in charge. He knows this business better than I do.

Granted, I would still run the company but he would be in charge of everything.

I would just be the figurehead that gets paid and has all the fun..

I would implement a very amazing new feature on the website:

When you click "Community" -> "Forum" (or open the url), then the login box default has focus, so you could fill in your login info right away ;-)

Easy, I'd delegate two guys Rick and Dirk (AMAHM & Chucknorrisyouwimps) one for his coolness and the other famous for designing doughnut ring rims for any type of transport... lol

Hmmm...Let's see...

Many of us (maybe all of us...) ask for the same thing in our posts.

A VDJ Controller.

A controller that will be designed and made by VDJ teamers...A controller that will give every user the pleasure to have VDJ AT HIS HANDS...mappers can work, but it is much different when the controller is designed exactly as the software.

As we are talking about this controller's interface, let's check our preferences...

We all like big platters, so we would love big platters to our VDJ controller.Motorized or not we don't care that much...Just big.

We love pioneer buttons...It's so annoying when we get used to play with pioneer metal buttons and someday we have to play with the plastic ones when we have to use another manufacturer's cdplayer/controller.

We love EQ...i do and i hope you too...So either we have to wait a controller version of VDJ with better EQ, or we have to wait that our VDJ dream controller's mixer will be not midi, and will be stand alone and good.

We love slip mode...I think that we have already found a software solution...

We like effects...good ones...maybe some great effects that are open for downloading to premium users should come built-in to the next VDJ Version...not all of them...just a few is fine.

For people that like the old school stuff, Atomix MUST respect them by solving the timecode issue.

After all what we want is a good controller, with the industry standards that we are looking to every new controller from all manufacturers, and we want a new version of VDJ to come with the new controller, a new version that will have built-in 4 or 5 proffesional effects and a proffesional EQ.

Android and iphone app's can come later...Toch screens on the VDJ controller of our dreams can come later too...

What we need is a VDJ based controller with big platters, metal cue and play buttons and a new software version with the FX and EQ improvements to come with the controller.

I think this combination of products would be at the top of sales worldwide and would give VDJ users max pleasure.

My biggest current issue:

Add search to iRemote. Who can or even needs to scratch on that thing anyway. Response is good and snappy but it should be based around searching and managing the Playlist window for auto mixing. I want to be able to take requests when getting stopped out on the floor and put them in next.

I can really only use iRemote for play status and volume at this point. It is honestley not even worth setting up at a show just for that. It is really just a cool bedroom DJ toy at this point. Please make this the useful Professional tool that it can be.

Love VDJ 7.03, it is working great.

One thing I would do is make sure the people that represent this company acted in a professional manner.

I can't say what I want to say, so let me tone it down for some of the kids here. There are a few good ideas here, but we already have a wish list here on the forum. I think that is more then generous, on the part of the owner. I think Steph has been open minded, and listened to all of the request. I don't know to what extent he has tried to implement any of those request, and do not feel that I need to know. I have said it before, it is his company, and he can do what he wishes. I don't feel that he owes us anything more. The fact that we still get all upgrades and plug ins for free, is amazing to me. I for one appreciate all the hard work some of our members do on skins and plug ins. There are some ungrateful bastards here, that want to characterize them as unprofessional. Well, if you don't like them, don't use them. Make your own. Someone spends hours working on something, offers it to you for free, and you want to slap them around? Get some gratitude in your attitude. As I said in the beginning, I can't say what I really want to say, because I would be banned forever. However,f this was my company, I would not let anyone tell me how to run it.
