Topic: Paying for the App?

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

After I bought $300 software you would think that they could give me the app for free. They charge me $10 so i can go to the next track while i am away from my computer. They have made enough money off me.

Hello

We can't give the App for free. The other guys must buy Iremote to.
I have bought the App to :-)

I think, 10$ are not to much for this wonderfull App :o)

Greetings

You could have bought the serato system for 600+

Or two Pioneer Cdj 2000 and a Pioneer Dj M 2000. Hehe

Djing is not a cheap hobbie :-P

I know that. I'm a professional Dj since 15 Years. Earlier i'm driving to italy or germany to buy my Vinyls. Every month it costs me 2000-3000$ only Vinyl. And now, i have 20 000 Vinyls at home. For what? Dust catcher!....

Lol :-D

Ps: Don't forget for a good Dj Set 2 Technics 1210 hihihi......

You might want to register that software. That way, you can take full advantage of the upgrades, as they become available.

holy moly a whopping $10

The only problem I have with it is that it only works on wifi. So if your gig doesn't have wifi then it's useless. I just throw it on auto mode when I have to hit the shitter then take it off when I get back.... I only get to use the app when I'm ay home with my wifi. Since being mobile you don't know what to expect. But if the 10 bucks is bothering you the charge an extra 10 bucks at your next gig and then it payed for it's self. Lol

If you don't have access to a wireless access point at your gig then you can create a direct ad-hoc connection between your computer and your iDevice.

There are instructions on how to do this on the following page: http://www.fromdjs4djs.com/virtual-dj-iremote

Programming this app and the changes in the main VDJ program to support it take some time. It also needed to be reprogrammed before release because Apple moved the goalposts. Also the cost of hosting it in the Appstore needs covered.

It's not an essential part of the core program (which does a lot more than some competitors software for less money) and is justifiably charged as a plugin.

I'm sure if your boss asked you to work a week for free you would oblige :)

As above, if you're using Mac you can create a hotspot from within the OS, for Windows use this, I use this for sending output on the djplayer ipad app and it's very good: http://www.connectify.me/
