Topic: Timecode and American Audio Pro Scratch 2 problems

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi all,

I just purchased a Maya44 to mix audio and videos using american audio scratch pro 2 and a Pioneer CDJ 500 mixer.
The problem is that there is a lot of latency, the loop buttons, pitch control, flash cues are in sink with the software and basically not working the way it should be.
When using videos, the fader doesn't even move to switch to the video output on the playing deck. I downloaded the latest cd timecode, installed Maya properly with the same problem. The pitch control on the cd don't even work. the only buttons working on the cd's are the pause and play button.:(
Here are questions:

How can i sink the software with the new hardware and its features. (loop, cues etc..)
Is AmeAudio Pro Scratch 2 compatible with VDJ? if yes, what can i do to map the cd button to match the software

Need some serious help here.

Oumar

both the Pro Scratch 2 and the djm 500 are analog, meaning they don't send midi information to vdj for it to follow, the way you would set up your equipment is select timecodes, external mixer and use them that way, If you want to control hot cues, loops, effects etc... you will need a midi controller such as the korg nano series, to use in conjunction with your current setup.
