I have an MK2 controller and all I have to do is switch my headphone selector to deck "A" or deck "B" and no samplers will be heard in the phones, so this may be the way for you to resolve that issue...

Good Luck,

Joey....

@Joey, how do you have it configured cause I see you keep posting this but it doesn't work for me unless I'm using an external mixer and route the samples to their own channel.

Ok that's what I thought, but thats where the problem is..........you shouldn't another soundcard just for samples........ I believe a PFL for the sampler would solve this problem for many, maybe in a future version.

Thanks for the time

Another soundcard in effect creates another channel, but you could easily feed the sampler to a channel in your mixer and get you the same results..

You may be able to do this using your int. soundcard and use the controller card as master.. this might also work

Good Luck,

Joey...

So then I would need 2 sets of headphones......1 for my controller and 1 for the laptop just to preview samples?? Not realistic in my book. All we need is a PFL for the sampler instead of all this back door trickery, lol!! I'll play with my settings some more and see what else I can come up with using 1 soundcard.

Thanks for the time bro.

No Bro, you just move your controller headphone selector to "Mix", when you don't what to hear the sampler you switch to "A" or "B" deck.... you don't need two heardphones....

Ahh.....I think I get it now, Lmao!! Will give this a try with the Mixtrack (not the pro version) and a Maya 44 and see what happens.

Thanks
Huey

Yo what's up Huey, you have a dam good mixer bro, you can easily do this, anyway when I get more time I'll try this with my Int. card as another channel to route the sampler, I believe this will work also... for those with a controller soundcard...

Lmao, like you I'm tired of seeing this subject keep coming up so I wanna get to the bottom of it and post a tutorial on how to do it so people will stop asking, lol!! Like you I use an external mixer so this is never really a problem for me.

Thanks for the time
Huey
