Hello all.

I know that everyone and i mean alot of users are having problems when they load songs onto there laptop in vdj7 that when you upload to the first deck it would go to the second deck on your mixdeck>? Isnt that weird lol and if you were to upload to the 2nd deck in vdj7 that it would confirm onto the 1st deck on the mixdeck and everything would be messed up. Well i found a solution, toying around with the mixdeck and vdj7 for quite some time and spent so much hours on it that it is ridiculous. I Thought to myself that this mixdeck is a piece of crap.. I love it now and here is how i fixed it.

I first opened vdj7 and turned on my mixdeck and set the parameters to usb midi and than I went into the vdj 7 configuration and > clicked advanced options > click try 20 day pro trial for vdj and everything will load and it will say restart program to obtain all features and so i did > now open configurations again > go to info > and reset to factory default settings and there done.> The channel glitch should be fixed and the crossfader should work properly and now one more thing is go back into configuration > sound setup > input and set it to none > output set it to external mixer > and the config for external mixer should be deck 1 channel 1,2 and deck 2 3,4

Lastly but not least set soundcard to numark

I hope this fixed most of your problems and answered them for you.. Goodluck with the hardware and i managed to get it working that way properly cause i did all the hardware updates and software updates and even flashed my bios but no good, so i did the reset and configuration and voila............

An easier fix would be to just hit the "Eject" button on one the Mixdecks decks. It's mapped to reverse and rescan the controller. Or just open the config window and go into the mappers tab and reasign your decks.........

Not sure if this helps but the original mapper for the mixdeck will switch the decks when you press the eject on the mixdeck (so ch 1 will play on 2 in ch 2 will play on 1) To fix this go to the mapper tab in change it I made it unload.

Response:

Audio000,,,,You dont even have to go into the mappers to fix it. All you have to do is press EJECT again and it will switch them back to the proper decks. Just as easy it is to press eject and have CH 1 on deck 2 and CH 2 on deck 1,,,,,,you can reverse it by press the eject button again. You dont have to go to the trouble of going through the mapping configs.

No one reads anymore, lmao!!

I think you just need to press the eject button to rescan and swap the decks LMAO!

Audio000's point was that if a user does not like the deck inversion function when pressing eject, it can be mapped to whatever the users preference is. He has his mapped to 'unload' the decks. With eject being a MIDI functioning key, it can be mapped to any script function the software supports (ex. loops, effects, samples, play, stop, clone, etc).

Thank you

superaceman

I don't like the reverse deck thing

Nice work man and thank you now I can have 4 decks.......

Hope you like it. If you have any questions or need help just holla at me.
