It's An Asus. When I get to my home computer I will look up the model. Not sure if I'm gonna go with that or the Mac

I hear ya BO...if u go with Mac you'll miss out on alot of effects that has'nt crossed over to that platform...

That's one thing I worry about but everyone I know that has a Mac swears by them. I guess if I had to I could boot camp and run win 7.

just kourious ? if macs are so great why do people always wanna bootcamp into windows ? if mac & the os are supposed to be the top must have ?

Because the effects aren't ported over to the Mac os so they install the PC os and run VDJ on the PC side so there able to run effects. It has nothing to do with what's better.........

I'm also leaning toward the Mac because the last PC I bought took months of tinkering with to get it to work right. Don't get me wrong I love it now, but don't want the headache of the video issues that I still see some people have with new high end PC Laptops.
