I'm curious as to whom uses Abelton Live alongside VDJ in Live performances? I have seen several people use it with their Software in different ways.
One guy uses the RMX, VDJ, and Abelton Live. Routes Master Out, Low, Mid, High, Gains to Abelton. So everything that comes out of VDJ goes to Live then out to house/phones. What is the advantage of this?
I'm curious as I have Live Lite 8 and have been playing around with it. I want to upgrade since this version limits to 6 scenes per Audio Track. I have Logic Express as well and want to upgrade to Logic Pro for the full tools, samples, and instruments.
THE Question is in YOUR opinion which should I upgrade first primarily for Remixing? I have read that many people create their loops, vocals, and beats then use them as scenes in Live which sounds like a good idea. Thoughts????

for remixing you cant go past ableton the ability to stretch and warp tracks is IMO unbeatable if you are using anything that has been played live, plus when you have your clips all set up it is more natural to play the song, that being said I have never used logic so not sure of its capabilities.
I have tried running ableton in rewire with timecodes but it was not very good at re adjusting the pitch to suit vdj, but if you don't change that it works pretty well
