Topic: On Screen Prize Draws

Doing a karaoke show where they draw a prize out for the singers. Currently they use a barrel full of marbles but I am wondering if we could do it somehow using the big screens in the bar. Anyone doing something like this?

Maybe use one of the text to screen plugins and post 3 different prizes then have the crowd text their pick for like 10 minutes. I know with the Pangolin plugin shows the results will appear on the screen in real time. Never used Firetext so I can't say what or how that works.

Just kicking ideas around

Its not a voting thing - just a random draw. So all singers go in the hat - one is drawn out to win a bar tab. Ideally need some software to enter all the names into, then it randomly selects one and displays on screen with fanfare and fireworks.

you could scroll the winners name and play a fanfare type clipbank clip ......
 
Hey Leigh, you can use either the text to win or get the audience to text to vote the winner, depending on which version you bought, or if you want all of the singers to have a chance not just on their singing ability google "random number generator" it will give you options for different softwares that you can use.

Give each singer a number, put the parameters in the software ie 1 - 20 and hit the button. Use the movie tab in Firetext to run your fireworks with or without transparency.
