Hi
Just setup using RMX, 2 X 1210'S and Win 7, using VDJ Pro. Initially deck 2 was working ok, with deck 1 just producing a constant tone. I set the timecode settings for deck 1 to the same as 2 in 'debug' and it worked but sounded crap. When I stopped deck 1 it went bezerk, making all kinds of sounds. I have rebooted and now only have a constant tone from both decks when running. In timecode config a have green circle (almost) bust still the dreaded constant tones, can anyone help please?

I ditched my RMX a while ago but I think it has something to do with the RMX control panel, I think you need to change a setting in there.
Im sure someone will come along and help

I have been adjusting the controls in debug for each deck:
Left/Right set to 11pm
Phase/Anti at 12 (midday)
Gain at 4pm
Silence at 7pm
(I used times to illustrate easier)
So now both decks are on 100% in Timecode config and play fine. The only problem now is that when I stop either turntable they carry on playing in a 'jagged' way?!?!? *Bangs head against wall*

All fixed. By continuing to 'tweak' the settings for each deck in 'debug' I managed to get almost a perfect circle, the jumpiness was prevented by slightly increasing the 'silence' setting so that the grey circle doesn't touch the inside green circle. Seems to be fine now. Hope this helps anyone who has the same problems in the future.

I constantly struggle with timecode vinyl in VDJ Pro and my Hercules RMX. I've troubleshooted every option just like you and have yet been able to have an error free set within my last 3 gigs using timecoded vinyl. I've tuned up and changed my RCA cables and catridges for my TT 1200's. I'm too the point where I'm considereing to switching to Serato or Traktor. Can someone please offer some help/input into how I can increase the stability of timecoded vinly use with VDJ Pro,a Hercules RMX, and a Mac Book Pro.
Thanks,

What timecodes are you using?

I'm using the latest Serato V2 that were suggested on the VDJ website. I normally spin on the 15 minute side

I haven't resolved the issue with VDJ Pro and RMX, but I did buy Serato Scratch Live 3, a Rane TTM56, and a set of Dicers. The Serato set up works flawlessly after one initial set up! I wonder if VDJ's poor timecode performance is limited only to vinyl or does it effect cdj's as well.
