Hi
I would like to know if there's someway to map the hot cues 1,2,3. left and right for total of 6 hot cue buttons.
And I got the estax typhoon i activated the 20 day trial, anyway since I'll keep using the software I purchased the license but i dunno how to activate it, is there someway i can activate it without uninstalling or losing all my cue points and mapping?

thanks for yor help

go to my documents --> virtual dj, copy database.xml, put it somewhere safe..

then uninstall your LE Version and reinstall Virtual Dj Pro, paste the database in the virtual dj folder and all your information and cues will be accessable in Pro..

to map the hot cues, just use

hot_cue 1
hot_cue 2
hot_cue 3

You can just do it for one side of the controller & it will automattically assign to the appropriote deck

I have a mpd 24, for that I just change the bank on the device (it's built into the hardware) then It changes the midi note for the pad. If yours does that just use key learn in the simple midi wrapper.

If not you will need to make a shift to work internally in vdj, If you need that I can help but don't think you will...

You will find the Vestax Typhoon LE skin in your VirtualDJ folder -> Skins

Simply make a backup copy of it (It's a ZIP file) and you can restore it again in future by simply copying it back to the Skins folder again.

You should also backup your database and music collection on a regular basis: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Backup%20Database.html
