Topic: VDJ not maximizing from minimized

Hi All

Had 2 problems tonight and wondered if anyone knew why it is doing this.

On my new PC I minimized VDJ and when I went to click on the VDJ icon at the bottom it flashes red and will not open. I closed VDJ and tried reopening and the logo come up minimized and again flashes red when I try to maximize. I repaired VDJ and still the same problem. I removed and reinstalled VDJ and still the same problem.

In the end I used the laptop which I have had for ages and the gig went fine but at the end I accidently clicked minimise instead of close and the same problem occurred when I tried to maximise VDJ with the Red flashing behind the Icon on the bottom bar.

NEW PC spec
I5 quod core processer
1TB HDD
8GB Ram
Windows 7
VDJ 7.0.4

Laptop Spec
I3 Quod core processer
500GB HDD
4GB ram
Windows 7
VDJ 7.0.4

what are your screen resolutions? are the the same as the skin your using? if not download the correct resolution or use the skin resizer to change a skin that's the same in proportions as your screen, you should never maximize/minimize your screen, it will chew through your cpu..
 
Re sized the skin's and all is working fine (so far), Although the CPU usage has not changed but at 3 bars avarage that is to be expected.

Try this:
Just maximize the window by... Clicking and holding ALT and the red X ... Then open again and your window should open maximized. If not then you maybe have some windows bugs on it. Open 'Control Panel' and select 'Add/Remove Programs'. Check for the program entries of "WinSrvReg" and "Friend Greetings". If found, uninstall this program.

If not then I read on, to follow the http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_t.htm. Then chose to run the "Minimized Programs Missing". It took about few seconds and must be repaired everything! and should work : )
