Hy everybody
I would like to give some rhythmic Effects to my Microphone Deck.
But the BPM Detection always tries to find a Tempo of my Singing.
The Voice does´nt have a periodic Beat or Boom. So the outcoming Tempo makes no sense.
What I wanna do:
Deck A is playing a Karaoke-Song with f.i. 120 BPM.
Deck B may be the Microphone-Deck and should have the same BPM.
Then my Gates/ Cut/ Echo Effects would get this right Tempo and could Pimp the Voice to the Sky!
Or imagine the Beatgrid with Your Voice (YES EVEN THIS WOULD WORK WITH THE SPEECH AS WELL!)
It has to be simple but I couldn´t solve this BPM problem.
I use the VDJ 7 2 Deck Skin and don´t wanna change to another skin if not necessary.
So I hope for a VDJ-Script solvation.
Any Idea ´bout that?

I tried following in a 4 Deck - Skin:
Set Deck 1 to MASTER so that all other Decks sync to Deck 1.
But the Microphone/ Linein - Deck still gives stupid BPM-Information.
Even Mic-activation by Shortcut "deck 2 linein 'mic'" is no success.
No chance for rhythmic Effects? Any Ideas?

Did you get the gates to work on the mic? I have a list of effects that won't work with the mic. What other effects have you tried?

in the words of happy gilmore.. just tap it in... map "beat_tap" to your keyboard, or if your really lazy you could maybe use "match_bpm" to have them the same with one press of a button.
