Topic: How Do I...

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Scenario -

Drive A contains music and video files. I use this drive almost everyday. In virtual if you click that little square next to title or Artist (or whatever your setup is) it will show the most used/recent files that you have played in the folder you have selected.

Drive B - contains all of the same data as Drive A - its the backup

Now I think I may know how to do this but...

How do I get drive B to act like drive A in respect with that little square recognizing the most recent/used files?

Simple:
On the root of the drive A there is a file named "VirtualDJ Local Database v6.xml"

Copy this file on the root of drive B and you are set.

If you wish you can also open the xml file on the second drive with notepad (or another text editor like notepad++) and replace the drive letter on all entries.

Phantom - Thats what I thought but it didnt work when I tried it...Ill do it again and let you know Thanks!

Perhaps you should also perform the step above...
Ctrl+H
Find what: A:\
Replace with: B:\
