Topic: VDJ PRO FULL TIMECODES

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi, I am new to the Virtual DJ community, and I have the Pro Full software.

My setup is as follows:

Pair of Pioneer CDJ 1000 MKII's
Hercules MK4 mixer
Maya 44 USB ESI

My problem is that my timecodes are cutting out after 10 or 12 minutes. The only answers I could find to this problem is that a person does not have the PRO FULL software. I, however, do have this.

Can anyone please help?

after 12 Minutes ? thats about the length of the Timecode "Song" !

perhaps youve missed that..

than you have to start playing again from the Track beginning!

you could try to put the track on a loop and use the relative timecode setting, it would have to be a pretty big loop though...

I make sure to not let the 12 minutes run out. In other words, while one CDJ is playing, I restart the track on the other CDJ, so that the 12 minutes doesn't actually run out. But I'm still losing complete functionality from the CDJ's. By this point, I'm only able to use my MK4 to control the software.

I have tried using the Timecodes in Smart Relative, Relative, and Absolute. Each time is the same result. The functionality of my CDJ's stops working and I can only control the software through my Hercules MK4. Again, I do not let the 12 minutes expire on my CDJ's.

I have switched my mixer to a Pioneer DJM 350, so I have a full Pioneer set up now with analog inputs as opposed to USB connection. However, nothing has changed with the Timecodes. I STILL CAN NOT GET MY CDJ's TO WORK FOR MORE THAN 10 TO 15 MINUTES AT A TIME, WITHOUT RE-APPLYING MY CONFIGURATION.

IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HELP, THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

I followed your links, and did everything exactly as instructed for the advanced configuration with 2 timecodes. My timecode graphs are still in the shape of squares. And my functionality on my CDJ's still stops after the 10-15 time is up.

Also, when I use my crossfader, hi's, mid's, low's, volumes, or anything else on my mixer, it responds perfectly. But I get no reading on the software showing that I'm moving anything.

This means that they are still not configured properly (The input signal is probably too loud.) Make sure that you are using the Pro-grade timecode signal from http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/cd.html

If they work OK, then that's fine.

If not, then you should try the pro grade signal.

NOTE: The only difference between the two is the pro-grade signal is recorded with lower gain to account for the more 'hot' output of higher-end CD players.
