Topic: .........VDJ Sampler.......

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Does anyone have any real luck using the built in VDJ Sampler?.....I can never get the volume loud enough over the track or when the sample

is triggered from track to track there is always a HUGE discrepancy in the sample volume either inaudible or WAY louder than the track....I've

heard alot of people on the forums talk about how VDJ's built in sampler could use a bit of redesign....the four deck route with a dedicated

sample deck I know is a popular solution, but my controller is 2 deck and I'm really more comfortable using just the 2 decks right now......Just

wondering you guys' experience or how you use it , if at all.

Please help!!

OK I feel ya on this, in order to get your samples to match the tracks you need at least 3 channels. I use an external mixer so i give my sampler its own channel and have no problems. I've tried using it with a controller but its a lot harder. Check the Wishes forum, there's a few threads asking for it to be revamped. Not sure what your setup is but its best to run the samples to their own channel.

Sorry I couldn't be more help

I've had no problem. I make my own samples all the time & it is just a little bit of trial and error until it comes out perfectly.

The sampler works best with a threes channel mixer. I think it was designed to be that way and you can't pre-listen to the sampler. never had volume problems with an external mixer.

Would it work better in your opinion to map the master volume slider to control sample volume?...I'd still have two other vol. sliders for each deck.....I'm using an RMX...thanks guys

I mean yall do know that you can turn the volume of each of the samples on the deck up or down.....on the browser tab just select sampler.....I have each of mine pre set because it saves that way when I practiced my set's I set them up then & they work fine.....Maybe u guys are over thinking how to use it???? I'm not sure...

@ dj raffnix

turn down the master volume and turn you speakers up, the sampler and the volume are not linked

Buy an akai lpd8. Problem solved.
