I am going to be switching to Virtual dj and would like advice on the what sound card to buy. I use a pc. I now use PCDJ with an American Audio Versaport sound card.
Thanks, Steve

First decide if you need inputs, for time-code. If you do, then that will narrow your field. Then decide what your budget is. The more you spend, the more you get. I don't do time code, so I went with the Gigaport AG. This has 8 outs or 4 stereo outs. This allows the sampler to have it's own channel, so I can control the volume. Or, you can have three players and a sampler. Or, four players, and use one of them for your samples. They no longer make the AG, and now it's called the Gigaport HD. My best friend has both, and the HD sounds much better. The thing about VDJ is, you can use any sound-card on the market, from the cheapest to the most expensive.
