Can anyone help me please I use Use Virtual DJ for my personal pleasure at home and at family parties.
I am using V7.03 on a Mac pro laptop -my problem is as follows
I have the following folders in my VDJ program
Music which expands to MP3 - Videos- Karaoke -New karaoke .and to look at what files I have I simply click on the folder and it expands instantly for me to look at my files no problem.
My problem is I also have 53 GB of old karaoke files in MP3 format for the music and a CDG file for the lyrics ie 2 files for each Karaoke song. aprox 9732 karaoke mp3 files and 9732 CDG files
My problem is if I click on the file to expand it a colored cursor appears and it takes about 5-6 minutes for the file to expand and this happens each time i click on the folder.
Is there any way around this problem as when the cursor appears it locks out the program - it will carry on playing the current song but will not allow me to load another song until the floler is expanded.

why even open you tree.right click on files and add to database then just type in name of song you want.
also make sure you select show karaoke from icon beside search bar.

This has been this way in VDJ for the longest time. It has to do with the way the OS views compressed files within VDJ. There is an easy fix. Once you have added all your karaoke files to your database simply create a new filter folder using type=karaoke as the filter type. This folder will now show your entire karaoke collection instantly.
