Topic: LEDs on DJ Tech iMix

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hey guys, I've got my new DJ Tech iMix, and it works great, but I haven't been able to get the LEDs working. Anyone have any ideas? This is what my mapper looks like currently, and all the buttons work fine. For example, i'd like the play button (0-20) to be solid on when playing and blinking when paused! I'm on Mac OS 10.6.8.

The DJ-Tech iMix is natively supported in the latest version. Download the FREE Home edition and try it out - http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html (10 minute trial period with the controller)

Then purchase the PRO Full version to get full use of the controller.

** With the SimpleMIDIWrapper you can only map input from the controller to the software actions. You can not map output feedback (LEDs) from the software to the contrller.

oh well that doesnt help me at all. it does support the i mix (with the LEDS) but my buttons wont work. my friend has vdj pro and it wont work on his. do you think its the controller its self?

I think, that you can test your controller using "miditrace", in my opinion thats the easiest way to check it
Here is the instruction for miditrace https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MIDI%20Noten%20mit%20Miditrace%20auslesen.html
Is your controllers name also "simple midi wrapper"?
My DJ-Tech is called like this "F0 7E 00 06 02 48 50 01 02 00 05 00 03 00 03 00 F7"
I hope this is helpful.
I am sorry for my bad english

This is still V7.0.5, but it has Build nr. 380. If your friend got a lower buildnumber, he doesn't have the latest version and the controller might not (yet) be supported.
