Topic: 4 deck skin with 2 deck controller?

Is it possible to use a 4 deck skin in VDJ with a controller with only 2 decks?

And what about the other functions in the software, that are not directly present in the controller, like the sampler etc.?

Yes you can use a 2 deck controller with a 4 deck skin. Using VDJ script you can make your controller activate samples and stuff. This link should help.you get started, http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/index.html

Just to make sure I got this right :-)

When i use a controller with VDJ, everything in the software works, but some of the functions are mapped to the controller.

Right?

So the functions that are not mapped to he controller, I can use from the computer?
 
Yes sir. It does depend on if the software your using came with the controller or if your using a crack which is outdated and won't work with said controller. So if you bought the controller new it's best to register your software so you can receive the latest updates for free......

Right now I'm using the Home edition, and i don't have a controller.

Soon I will own a controller and upgrade the LE edition that comes with it to Pro.

I don't use crack software, I'm in the software industry myself :-)
