Hey guys,
I recently purchased a Numark NS6 but after a few weeks of playing with it i hated it, had clicking noises and lag problems.(i tried all fixes possible)
So i took it back and got a S4, so far just in the first half hour of it im super impressed, its quality built and super portable, im still getting some clicking noises and a little lag, but nothing near as bad as the NS6.
So getting to the point! im just curious about the S2 and its comparison. it looks pretty quality aswell but i noticed some differences such as lack of filter knobs and record/loop buttons. I dont plan on using any vinyl or other deck hookups so the missing inputs are no problem for me.
In the end i guess it comes down to how many extra loops and mashing i will plan on doing. I was just hoping for an opinion from someone who has maybe tried both.
*also i tried switching to deck c and d on the s4 but when i loaded a song it said i couldnt get anything longer then 48 seconds, i figured it would be the same as the ns6 and be able to load full songs?
Thanks guys! just trying to save some cash if i can although i really dont see a problem keeping the S4 its awesome for lack of better words.

If you are getting 'clicking noises', then you probably have some underlying performance issues with your computer.

If you are getting clicking noises, then there is something wrong with your system, not the NS6.
The NS6 is incredible with VDJ.
Personally, I would have kept the NS6. Seems to be an industry standard now.

my computer is well capable of handling it so it must be somewhere in my settings, before i had a numark mixdeck and it worked well without any problems.
Also i saw that the s4 isnt mapped to vdj, has someone made mappings that i can get? i really enjoy virtual dj but traktor is growing on me :)
pretty sure im staying with the s4, it is quite a beauty im very happy with it.

I can't tell you where to get it, but if you google something like: virtual dj definition and map kontrol s4, you may be in luck if your willing to pay for it...
