I'm playing around with the free version of Vitual Dj on the simple setting so no headphones. Having to rely on the waveform to beatmix tracks which works fine when I'm playing house tunes but doesn't seem able to cope with a breakbeat? The Waveform shows the tracks as being perfectly in time but as soon as you fade up and listen, you can tell they're way apart. Is there a fix for this or do I need to get a better soundcard so I can use headphones to preview the track, ignore the waveform and mix by ear like I do on CDJ's?!?!
Thanks for your help!

DnB and breaks have a lower frequency snare compared to 4/4 genres, which is usually louder than the kick that is why vdj gets it wrong, but you can manually adjust the beatgrid by right clicking the bpm tap button on the default skin to open up the bpm/cbg edit window.
