You shouldn't need much else to go with your controller... Headphones maybe? Choose your software and start using it, then you will learn what else you may need.

Virtual DJ Pro and your MixTrack Pro will enable you to play music videos in addition to music. And there are free plugins available that allow you to play video effects with regular music - you can output it to a video projector/TV.
So you may need to get an SVGA or HDMI output from your laptop to connect the digital projector or TV.
If you are using separate amplifiers and speakers, then you may also consider (highly recommended) an active crossover. The MixTrackPro only has RCA outputs, and they are UNBALANCED. As such, you get line noise. An active crossover can reduce the noise significantly. There are other similar devices that do the same.
If you continue to use the MixTrackPro, you may want to consider opening it up and adding BALANCED 1/4"output jacks. By adding the ground, you make the system balanced, and eliminate the noise.
