Anyone going to NAMM this year? I'll be running around representing www.idjnow.com filming product interviews with reps from different lighting and gear manufacturers. I'll be suer to post links when they are up to get the skinny on all the new products we can look forward to!

NAMM 2012, Yes, I will be there. I am going to be there with Marathon Professional and I will also be working with American DJ/American Audio/Global Truss/Arriba Cases, etc. as well as a couple of other companies doing some press work. I'll likely be hanging/working with Brian Redd, Ryan Burger from Mobile Beat, the Cats from the Crossfader Show among others. I too will be interviewing, so look for my videos, pics and print articles live from the show!

Anyone else going?

Wish I was going, but for anyone who does go can you please head over to the Gemini booth and check out the CDMP-7000, please. Can you also tell them they need to make the mixer section MIDI.

Have fun and take plenty of pics

I wish i could go ..didnt get passes ...and I live so close too ....reaper sad lol

Anyone else going? Anyone of theTeamers here? I will see you tomorrow through Saturday!! Look for my latest video uploading to YouTube now which is an in-depth look and proper setup of both the VMS4.1 and Virtual DJ Pro. I'll be onsite at NAMM demonstrating how to setup, mix, do live video mix-sets and how to run karaoke on this awesome machine running the most awesome software, Virtual DJ v. 7.05b. Then in two weeks I'll be at Mobile Beat Las Vegas doing the same thing!

See you there?

Where's the new Denon stuff?

Nothing on the web so far about any new Denon kit at all.

Are they holding it back until the last day or something?

yes they look dam nice only which the mixer had audio. I'm trying to guess the size of them to see how many I could add in my flightcase :D
1 CMD MM-1 - 2 CMD PL-1 - 2 CMD DC-1 or CMD DVS-1 hehe could be a dream setup.

@groovindj,

Yeah, I'm also waiting to see what's new w/ Denon...specifically stuff that supports VDJ Pro.

One of my friends posted a pic of the Pioneer CDJ-2000 and DJM-900nexus, in a Limited Edition white...OMG!!! Just a dream to look at. Looking forward to more pics, vids, and reviews.

@ gullum

they are 12 inch x 6 inch, the article says two equal the size of a record sleeve, and they can be linked together by a plate underneith the controllers, I would assume behringer would market all sizes up to 6 controllers for joining them, but it also pointed towards being able to join 2 controllers together and dust off your old udg/technics record bag again for transportation of up to 6 controllers, that is genius :)

Denon has nothing new this year....unfortunately.

Rane has two new mixers: 61, 62, and 62 z trip edition. Videos coming soon.

namm isn't the only show left in the year btw.

That's funny because while I was checking out these interesting new controllers in the Behriger booth and guess who walks up and says "hey Paul!" It was Mr. Andrew Van Almen, GM of Atomix! I asked him about the rumor going around that the next version of VDJ isn't going to be called "8" but instead VDJ "9". He laughed and said "that's ridiculous, it will be called 8" lol

NAMM 2012 is awesome this year!!

Denon has nothing?

Ouch - epic fail.

We've had new product spotted on a poster, leaked video of someone actually using it, names
dropped by DJ software.....

And still Denon say and do SFA.

Damn it, we KNOW these things exist. The cat's out of the bag.

I just wish they'd be honest with us.

thats grate and that mean I could fit 6 moduls in my flight case and use a laptop stand instead of having it on the sliding shelf :D now to wait to see what thomann can sell them for :D

From Skratchworx article
The all in one 4a is a projected $199,
the MM1 mixer is $149
and the rest are $119.
Really cheap pricing

This looks like a cool setup to me... price $625, I hope they feel decent to use

I also designed my dream from these modules I will name it Ulticontrol :D

Would be grate to skin them too

I disagree. from a conntroller point of view they have the MC-3000 and MC-6000 which covers all bases. The older of the two is just over a year old and is still being supported (last FW update last week).

I would rather they concentrated on a small portfolio rather than the likes of Numark who release hundreds of similar type controllers every other day.

Anyway we know the quality of Behringer gear in general, and I would use it in a bedroom but not in a club.

Yep, well you get what you pay for. Look at the original VMS4 for example!
