Anyone know of an easy way to sync your cue points and play information between your laptop and home computer.
I was thinking of using something like Windows Live Mesh or Drop box to sync the VirtualDJ Database xml between the two but was wondering if anyone knew if this will corrupt the file possibly or if there is another suggestion for doing this.
I already use dropbox to sync my 2 computers music files and it works great.....just a little scared to be messing around with the databasefile

Should work perfectly. Always keep a backup of your Virtual DJ folder just in case :)

i use Windows live mesh and it works perfectly. If there is a problem syncing it will usually create a second file with the same name and put the computer name in parenthesis so you dont lose info

Also, if you want to use a flash drive or external drive to sync, download Microsoft sync toy. It's free and does a great job.
I have it set to send my DJ machine songs and settings to the external HD then update any changes on my backup machine.

thanks guys!!!
I'm assuming the key is to never have them both open at the same time since if you make changes on both it won't know which file should be the latest verision

Don't have any of them open, VDJ locks the database file when it's active and this won't be copied.
