First of all my name is Andrew and im pretty new to the whole DJ thing... My buddy has a hookah bar that I am DJing at but right now all I really do is fade in fade out transitions and some loop transitions to play around... I am just having fun with it, but tonight he said I am getting better and I can get pretty good he will pay me for it too. So I thought well why not I am having fun and if I can make a couple hundred a night while im at it why not :P So here are a few of my questions...
1. I have virtual DJ pro basic. That means I cant go buy a all in one controller and connect it and play off that... correct? If not what are some of the all in one controllers I can use?
2. Where does everyone get all their songs... I have about 300 or so right now and then I just use the premium membership to look up other songs but it gets old having to remember them every night and what not..
4. If I do get virtual dj pro and a all in one controller I only have to plug a USB plug from the all in one to the laptop and im good... right?
3. Any tips?

1. you will not be able to use any controller with Home. you can use the controller 10 min. at a time in Home. But if you buy a all in one controller with VDJ LE the controller and all functions on the controller will work. plus you get a discount if you upgrate from LE to PRO.
2. I get most of mine from iDJpool.com some from itunes. but there are several other places where you can get songs just do a search on here and there are threads about where to get songs.
3 Yes an all in one controller that is supported by VDJ you only plug it in with USB and you are set to go
The controllers here are all supported by VDJ out of the box http://www.virtualdj.com/products/hardware.html and most of them come with VDJ LE

Thanks for the replies guys... I have the pro basic right now which only cost me 200 to upgrade if I buy a controller do the 2 discounts stack? Cause I wanted to buy HERCULES DJ CONSOLE 4-MX its 400 on this site but I found a barely used one for 300... What you guys think
