Can someone refresh my memory on how to create a shortcut for adjusting CBG's on the fly? I'm doing an old school set soon and need it for some of the human drummers etc. from the back in the day. Used to use it for older versions of VDJ but haven't had to since I upgraded and can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.

Quoted from User Synthet1c:
"map an encoder using "adjust_cbg" or "edit_bpm" on a button/key"...
Hope this gets you in the right direction.

With the old mapping method, I had G and H set for +/- 64 if I remember and they would shift left and right.
Its different now, but what I do is use a button and assign beat_tap and while the track is playing strike it once on the down beat and it aligns in a split second.

I'm hoping VDJ8 will have Ableton style warping to overcome this whole "beat grid doesn't fit varying tempo" problem.

I have adjust_cbg assigned to jogwheel on shift... Perfect for on the fly adjustments.

Thanks for some direction guys. I'll give it a go with a few of the methods noted and probably be back for more questions. I had it mapped like you did Rick and was trying to do the same again and didn't see the choice in the mapper now.
