no the crossfader of scs1M have 0.6 cm or more of void
so nothing happen when you move a little the crossfader so grabb is impossible
with that screw, the void of the crosfader is full and just you move the crossfader a little and the midi message is come to the software
now with that the crossfader is very very good for scratch

Need a bit of thinking not just put screw and mounts. BAD AND UGLY SCREW USED IN MOUNTING!!! Doesn't look nice....
You should use the FLATHEAD SCREW that will level on the surface when mounted.
