Hi all,

Im just setting up at home and having a nightmare with latency problems & the soundcard i have doesnt seem to work with Asio. I've been looking at the numark stereo i/o but cant seem to find much info about latency etc, anyone us this? or Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced soundcard with very low latency?

Any help greatly appreciated :o)

Are you trying to use timecode or a controller? Your version may not support either. Look here
 
I'm running VDJ pro & have a numark DJ2go contoller. All is well bar the latency issue and im just after some advice really on a decent soundcard, its just for home use really so i dont need numerous outputs or anything flashy. :o)
 
numark dj.io mate cheap and works well/
i use this for my backup lappy with no problems
 
Thanks for that, anyone use the behringer uca222 or 202? any good?

I have the behringer uca202, works really well. Ive used it for Recording and quality was great. Although i haven't tried it as my soundcard out for my gig.

For my gig im using my Audio 8 DJ and can't say anything bad about it. Great Soundcard and quality of the sound is amazing.

your claiming to say your a VDJ PRO user... but it clearly sez that your a NLU. register your product and ask any questions you want
 
many nlus are users of cracked vdj pro... cant be helped really... unless you can take down the crackers and leekers.. and every llegal copy out in the world...

the NLU's are paying for not having all the capabilities of a registered copy ....

all the goodies they can't have .....


some of them just bought a laptop used , some of them have purchased used systems including

a controller ..... so in that case the components won't hold up well , they are already used , and there

are no warranties .... plus they can't get the plugins and upgrades


sometimes they just wanted used stuff for cheap , sometimes they knew exactly what they were cracking


in either case they wanted great software and they got it

we are faced with a fait accompli

so now we can be nice to them or not nice ?

so let's be the good guys with the best software and when they upgrade they will be like us, very happy

with all the goodies , upgrades and support
 
You might find that he's using Virtual DJ Lite, as this ships with the DJ2GO...

i assumed an LE

@ gillis .....don't concern yourself with a aftermarket soundcard for the present moment.....

make sure you can get the controller going perfectly and with the default system soundcard

you are having audio problems , that is why i provided the link to the optimizations/tweaks....

read and execute .... get that going first

then if you have a standalone soundcard install that next , after you get the controller working ......

fix one problem at a time, adding hardware , changing software and drivers only makes it harder

to pinpoint the problems

when you are troubleshooting make system restore points before and during .........

if you need more help PM and i'm sure you will get fixed


as for the NLU bit , just be nice

NLU's can contribute in certain ways , and especially if they get the premium membership ......
