While the home version will allow you to mix songs together, I would definitely look into a controller. It will make controlling the software easier for you. As far as a good controller, I personally like my Mixtrack Pro. There is a lot of Ford vs. Chevy when it comes to controllers. I would read as many reviews and post about controllers that are in your budget. After that I would go to a store and try out the ones you are interested in to see what you like or dislike.

there are a bewildering assortment of midi controllers available from cheap

to expensive .... if you are new at this why not get some more experience with what you've

got presently ? you seem to be a natural if you taught yourself to beat match ....

it's very easy to buy hardware that doesn't match your needs well when you aren't

experienced...... the controller controls the software in a more normal fashion than the mouse

and keyboard shortcuts .... sometimes they have a sound card ( interface) and usually a rudimentary mixer

i'm trying to encourage you to try it , but go slow and ask a lot of questions before you leap

notice how all versions can support at least the 4 deck skin and the netsearch ........

you could use the 4 deck skin and play more than 2 decks simultaneous , doesn't require a controller
