when I drag a track to the other deck while a track is playing on the other deck, it makes the track that is playing quieter.
how do I stop this? I am trying to make a dubstep mix and this problem keeps occuring.

I assume you're using the free version, and just mixing with the computer and mouse, right?

This is probably because your sound is configured incorrectly, so that your headphone output is coming out of your main speakers.
