Topic: Are we Ever going to see a VDJ app?

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

It's safe to assume that a a full version of VDJ, with video playback and everything, is being developed for the iPad. Can we at least get a preview of it. I think this is really important, because the users should have some input into how it works.

Since Algoriddim is about to drop their video app, this is the time for VDJ to get the beta out to some people that can show it off and generate some excitement about the VDJ app.

I don't see why you would wan't to use an ipad app as the brains in a professional setup at least until ipad 4 anyway, if you really want a touch interface you can use the existing ipad iremote with a custom skin to suit whatever functions you require but keep the processing in your full strength laptop where it belongs, it would be good if vdj could pass on browser information to the ipad though.

I for one would love to see a proper vdj iPad app, I know I couldn't have all the bells and whistles of the computer version but something basic that would allow me to do basic mixing and prepping my music would be cool. Would love to be able to use it with the new idj pro that numark will release in the not so distant future.

The one thing I wish for ipad interface is a VDJ Launchpad for samples and effects. Effects may not work as well due to delay but this would make the absolute best combination available anywhere. A bank of samples with easy access would make my world complete to launch off my ipad.

The only other thing that would be nice is to have the APP for ipad to use as a backup. Right now I use Djay and a couple others as a backup plan incase of PC/Mac Crash. To be able to use DVJ on ipad full app would be great in this case. Another use would be very small venues where a full controller is not needed touch interface is much preferred over mouse and click on the screen.

I think its great with the one exception.....it needs a search option....then it would be complete IMO

The dj at a bar I frequent, uses torq. Instead of carrying my rmx and laptop I could show him a little of what vdj can do through an app. I don't like the torq skin..
