OK I knew better but tried it anyways. I contacted numark to see about getting a fresh serial for the MTP I purchased used (craigslist) we was told by numarks customer support the MTP no longer comes with VDJ LE but a copy of serato dj intro. figured ok was a free download why not. Serato is pretty and all that but WOW does it chew up resources .... needless to say I am sticking with VDJ just gotta go pro ( have a hercules mk4 so still getting a discount). Not much difference excpt wave forms and limiter on serato (be a nice add on for VDJ 8)

djdecks can run 4 effects on the master, so I fully expect to be able to put a compressor/limiter and a parametric or spectral equalizer on the master for cleaning up any issues with the sound...
Also if the serial for the mtp hasn't been used to upgrade to pro you can still use that for 50% off... but anyway it is definately worth the money as vdj pro feels like a completely different program as you can modify almost everything, and you can download skins, tools, audio & video plugins or use vst's on pc.

thats a plus syn thanks for the info since I couldnt register the mtp here i figured would just have to use the mk4 s/n gots to make some extra cash at my residency
