ive been thinking recently about the freestyler plugin etc... and the ability for vdj to communicate with the lightind software
i know theres something in the plugin that allows you to set an ip address for the software but im not sure yet as to exactly how to use the plugin...
what i want to be able to do, is to have vdj on one laptop... and freestyler on another, networked together via ethenet cable and use them both together as you would on a single machine...
is this doable??

Hi, excellent vid, trying to have this work, all steps work until I open s2l on the freestyler computer, I have an error message "a device has been used that is out of range for your system, the specified device handle in invalid [waveInreset] / [waveInclose]. In the config of s2l when the computers are networked, should there be another option for audio source other than "Default wave device", the computers are correctly networked, VDJ has found freestyler, it's like s2l cant see VDJ?????

All good, just had to turn the S2L window off, and use the small window,(random/jump)

Yup, when using my plugin the S2L of FreeStyler (the window that actually displays the audio devices, beat detection) is not needed.
