Hello, I would like to get your opinion on which mixer would fit my needs. Even though I have been djing for years I'm fairly new at beatmixing and was wondering which mixer you would recommend. I'm looking at the MC 6000 or NS6, which would you recommend that would make my transition smoother? I do mobile and club events. Thanks so much for your help. Right now the NS6 is $150 more than MC 6000.

I have the MC-6000 and it's perfect in every way.

I also do mobile, and need two mics, with 3 band eq on each. One 1/4 inch, 1 xlr. I do not have to choose between a mic and channel 3 or 4. I also need a booth out, and this one has 2 band eq on it. I also love the fact that the headphone jack is on the left (HELLO). You also have a choice of rack mounting it. I also like the fact that each players controls are the same, not mirrored or opposite. So my pitch sliders are both on the right of the player, pitch bends on the right. Not one on the right, and the other on the left. I'm talking about the MC6000. If you can do without these features, then go with the NS6, which is larger and not as cramped. Play with them both, and make up your mind.

Are both mixers compatible with virtual? And which one is more user friendly?

Yes, they're both MIDI.

That depends on the user.
If your requirements match the MC6000 then that will be user friendly (to you). If your requirements match the NS6 then that will be user friendly (to you).

They are both great controllers. I had the same decision to make when I purchased my new one last year. I chose the NS6 and I absolutely love it! I debated for weeks, went to several DJ shops to look and play. Those that have the MC love theirs as well, but I chose the NS6 because its built much more solid and the jog wheels/platters are much better IMO. Also it looks way more cool than the MC which is not really worth buying one over the other due to looks, but just a benefit of buying the NS6
