My Traktor Kontrol F1 has finally arrived.
this means that i can finally start working on the mapper for it, so i need your help.
im only one user and i often lack creativity, so i need you guys to say how you want the F1 buttons sliders and knobs to function.
this is your chance to make the controller work exactly how you want it.
please put your ideas and suggestions below
also dont say make it work like in traktor, i dont use traktor so i have no idea how it functions there.

It won't be able to function like it does in traktor until VDJ8 hits due to the current operation of the sampler.
You could have a layered midifighter type mapping you could use on the buttons, you could then use the sliders and knobs to modulate the effects...
Good luck with the leds if everything is in HID though. Not sure if you read djtechtools but they have a project to reverse engineer the HID protocol so the remix decks can be accessed with any controller, it might come in handy for you.

i have my kontrol f1 and i want to use in virtual dj , i like virtual dj a dont want to use traktor , but i like to kontrol f1 . somebody can tell my how i can use?

im working on a mapper for it, i recently lost everything due to a hard drive crash as i didnt have the work i had done on it saved on my network backup.

not currently supported by VirtualDJ, and probably wont ever be supported natively... however a mapper is in the works. you just have to be patient.

http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/16028/Traktor_Kontrol_F1.html I mapped it by using technz's MIDI defenition, it's not finished yet but works ok, only bug right now is the browser-knob I will fix as soon as possible.

Browser knob is now fixed, mapping should be bug-free but yet not finished as I havent mapped all buttons.
