I hope that VDj 8, will work with my sc3900 flawless.
Today the Mapping that Great Phantom made, is excellent , but still scratching is not good enough.
Hope also Like Traktor. 4 deck is possible with timecode, and you the sampler is better, i mean we can trigger any sample when we want.
That's all.

Adama,
You clearly do not understand how the Denon SC-3900 functions with other software - because VirtualDJ currently works exactly the same way you have to use them with Traktor, Serato SSL, etc. And, that is in Hybrid mode.
However, when VirtualDJ 8 releases it will be the first Professional software that works natively with Direct Platter support not needing the Hybrid functionality.
Also, I gave clear - VERY CLEAR - instructions how to setup the timecode in VirtualDJ on the Denon forums and HERE.
And just for your information -- VirtualDJ version 7, yes the current version; will be used by DJ Larry D this coming week in the VirtualDJ Booth all week, the Denon Welcome Party at the Casbah on Monday, and the Promo Only party Tuesday night -- WITH THE SC3900's and the Denon X600 mixer. Here is the line up if you can't comprehend that -- http://djtimes.com/thedjexpo/
Just for everyone else's sake, since Mr. KPone9 doesn't understand from posts here and on the Denon forums --- :
- Denon X600 mixer, latest drivers Denon ASIO 2.2.2, running 1ms latency, 48kHz sound card setting, in DVS mode
- 2 Denon SC-3900s, Hybrid mode, 2kHz Frequency option, Torque setting 2.0g (Larry likes it a little heavy)
- VirtualDJ provided Hybrid mapper - http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/14910/Denon_DN-SC3900_(Hybrid_MIDI).html
- VirtualDJ Timecode settings - perfect 100% and Lead Time in the Debug panel at 1ms.
So, happy mixing ...

It's working, i did not say it's not working i'm using it, but it's skeeping when scratching, thats all i'm saying
If you want i want make a video and show you.
I scratch on one point of the song, then i will do 3 or 2 baby scratch then , it's not the same cue point anymore, i lose or gain 1 or 2 second foward or back ...
so i'm saying in VDj 8 hope this will be fixed that's all.
But Honestly you can ask anyone having traktor this is not happening.
I just adressing an issue Issue here, that's all
Best regards

Did you even read this:

Larry D is using the same controllers and the same software as you are, and does not have this issue. So is it possible, that the issue is on your end?

Search DPC Latency Checker online and d. load it and run it. It is a safe application. Very simple. It will tell you if your PC is the culprit of your issues. Also make sure and turn everything OFF on the PC, except the core applications needed for the software. No firewall, A/V, auto updates, network card....all OFF.......Hope this helps....

Could Also be something as simple as updating a driver.........
Inviato Fri 10 Aug 12 @ 11:37 am
Latency checker something weird is happening, I get one bar at around 8000us every 5 minute, I can't find what is causing it
Inviato Fri 10 Aug 12 @ 5:52 pm
If you're using Windows Vista or 7 then LatencyMon might give you a better clue as it can report what driver is causing it.

ok Latency checker says my computer will be subject to dropout, Latency moon says my computer has no problem, when I went in the driver section of Latencymon the HIghest number was from NDIS, Network driver interface, don't know it does , something with internet I suppose but not sure.
But it says the computer is in good shape ( Latency side)
After stopping many drivers I have on Latency checker my higest is 958us max and current is between 100 and 200 us.
Latency Mon I have on the main page:
current mesurement Kernel between 80 and 150us
highest 875
highest mesurement SMI CPU IPI 15.97570 us
ISR routine : 897 us NDIS driver I think that's the higest driver in the laptop but I don't know what to do with it, even if It's possible to turn it off

958us is still high IMHO.
I like to ensure my gig machines all run <100us consistently which means I can run really low latency audio with a clean output - no pops, clicks, crackles and less 'risk' of something untoward happening.
NDIS.SYS points to a network driver, so Wi-Fi or Ethernet being primary culprits, but also potentially a Firewire LAN adapter or Bluetooth LAN.

So internet connection is the problem I think, because there is no Bluetooth driver on.
I turned off many thing, it's a 600us max
I guess NDIS driver is also with WIFI, so maybe that's my last option turning my wifi off

......The NDIS is the network adapter interface. For either your Ethernet (physical cable to modem or router) or Wireless adapter card....Do a web search on your EXACT model laptop and find out the manufacturer of that Network adapter or "card." Then go to that manufacturer's website and d. load the newest driver..... Now LISTEN CLOSELY, UNINSTALL the Current Adapter driver under the Programs tab under Control Panel (Windows 7). REBOOT and install the new driver that you just d. loaded.......Now turn off the Wi Fi signal (usually a button at the top of the keyboard) and stop all A/V, updates, malware scans, EVERYTHING you can.......Now run Latency Mod and see what shows up....Keep documenting the highest conflicting processes and we will get to the bottom of this.......This is the last easiest step to try before we have to start disabling one device at a time and then rechecking to narrow it down. That can get time consuming.... =D
Note: If you are uncomfortable with uninstalling the Network adapter, ask for help. It can mess your PC up (in the short term) until someone can help you re install a fresh version. By "mess up " I only mean it won't be able to reach the Internet.......Keep us posted.....

Another option is to use Game Booster. Even for a test. This will shut down any non essential drivers/services/background processes.
You can tailor the list so you can refine it to shutdown exactly what you need to, then restore everything back to normal afterwards.
Also sometimes even the latest drivers can be worse than previous ones, so try rolling back a rev or 2...
Anti-Virus can also be a bitch. I've completely removed all my A/V - Had this laptop over a year running Windows 7 dual partition and don't have A/V on either side...
Cheers,
Roy
