Good Morning,

I am currently using 2 laptops:

Old one: hp pavilion dv 9000 (4GB ram)
New one: hp pavilion dv7 7099el (beats sound card, 8GB Ram)

And use the controller pioneer ddj ergo (asio driver)

Basically, with the old laptop, the Pangolin Essential Media works, only that the CPU suffers and the audio quality sometimes isn't good. For example, when I have the audio track playing with the Asio Driver from DDJ Ergo and if I activate the Pangolin Essential Media the audio from the movie comes from the integrated sound card (not Asio). Is that correct? If that is correct the only problem is then that the CPU suffers and it is impossible to play because the bad audio quality becomes to distorted.

New laptop: very easy, when the Pangolin Essential Media is actived the Virtual DJ crashes. If I don't use ddj ergo (video nvidia e asio audio) and I use only the setup (audio video) from the laptop, everything is fine. It's like the Pangolin Essential Media does not accept the audio driver from the controller ddj ergo. When I restart the software, automatically the audio setup in Virtual DJ is from the laptop, not the controller (DDJ Ergo).

Please could you advise how I can rectify this situation. I await your reply in anticipation.

Asking the right question in the right forums will first of all help the creator of the plugin aware that you have a problem.

Stiill the problem ... Solutions?
 
The first problem, there is a speaker icon, that you can select and mute that movie. In ASIO, did you go to advance config, to tell it where to send sound from each player?
 
Try disable onboard audio in BIOS.
 
A) I select mute the speaker. Virtualdj still crash

B) where I can find the advance set up on Asio? And can you pls step by step what I can do in advance set up?

C) actually, about the bios I have no idea
 
I don't know what I have to do with the bios.

Actually when I restart virtualdj the audio is asio, only in video set up the video out is not select like before
 
i'm thinking you're ergo is not installed properly .....

uninstall it , disconnect all devices , reboot, then reinstall
 
With Clipbank no problem, only with essential media pangolin
 
I would say email them, they are great guys or go back and read their thread in the plugin section. And I do remember something like this happening with someone using a Denon MC6000.

did you try uninstall/reinstall the ergo ??

might need to do the same with the essential media also.......
