make sure you don't get the Mk2 vinyl's... I have never read about anyone using them and the probably won't work considering the last VDJ release was well before the vinyl was released. Huey used to like the Mk1 vinyl but I use Serato CV02 and they work perfectly on my system. I have bought the repressed Numark vinyl in the past but they are very easily scratched and suffer cue burn really quickly, the transparent coloured ones from Serato last ages and I prefer the weight. It kinda sucks because the original pressed Numark vinyl in the box was really good using high quality vinyl.

there is the standard 2000Hz setting that may work...
If your going to get tables you don't really need the TTX USB, the usb part is purely for recording vinyl although being able to swap the orientation of the pitch fader is good if you use them battle style. If you use them the normal way or are used to using them sideways you should just get the TT500 as they are exactly the same minus the stuff that you software can do for you like key correction and pitch readout. My mate had the 500's and they track better with heavy scratching than my American Audio HDT4.5's, he used to abuse them and tap the record really hard and they stayed in the groove 99% of the time because of the straight tone arm.
